This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of something special and to make a real difference. We give our Pupil Achievement Coaches the chance to be creative, collaborative and develop skills, passions and attributes in all children. We are building a great team of people who are innovative, practical and determined to deliver for our children.

Working with class teachers predominantly in-class you will raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special needs in the middle or secondary school. You will promote pupils’ independence, self esteem and social inclusion and give support to pupils, so that they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

We want all our Pupil Achievement Coaches to develop an expertise. There are three
main pathways:
● Being a champion of literacy and numeracy helping children achieve these
fundamental skills.
● Being a specialist in supporting individuals and groups of children who have
specific learning needs.
● Monitoring children who sometimes struggle with their behaviour.
In each area you will go the extra mile for pupils who face particular learning
challenges to ensure they make outstanding progress.
