Uniform and Equipment

We believe that coming to school each day with the correct uniform and the correct equipment helps get students ready for learning and for work in the real world. This half-term we are having a big push on uniform and equipment. At the start of every day your child will have their uniform checked by their period 1 teacher. Where students do not have the correct uniform they will have a point deducted and will be sent to reception to collect the correct uniform. If we don’t have the uniform the student needs, we will contact you straight away. If your child comes to school with the incorrect shoes we will loan your child a pair of our school plimsolls as a replacement. Please note all black trainers are not permitted as school shoes. Here is a reminder of the uniform:

  • School 21 blazer with logo

  • Plain light grey traditional style knee length skirt. Skirts must not be above the knee

  • Plain light grey (no leggings)

  • Plain black opaque tights and black socks must be worn with skirts

  • Black leather/ leather effect shoes, no heels

  • School tie

  • White shirt (which must button up at the neck)

  • School 21 Cardigan / Jumper

  • Teal/Purple/Black Plain Hijab (if applicable)

The following are NOT part of the school uniform and should NOT be worn:

  • Shoes with high heels/clogs or flip-flop type footwear (during winter, boots can be worn)

Jewellery (other than a single plain stud), make-up, false eyelashes, nail varnish and false nails are not permitted in school. They cause numerous problems related to the health and safety of other students and we ask that you do not allow your child to wear them to school.
