We are looking for a driven and innovative teacher of Sociology to join our Sixth Form team. There is huge demand for the subject so this is a brilliant role for someone who wants to take children on a two year journey of discovery and success.
 
Sociology is an important subject for School 21. We have a mission to empower young people to take on the world. To that they need to understand the intricacies of human interaction and trends in society.
 
Within the sixth form, we will seek to pair students with experts and experienced professionals in various fields to undertake research, on-site projects, or work placements. Our aim here will be to stretch our students beyond the A-level course and to give them opportunities to experience sociology at the cutting edge of discovery. You will work alongside the other teachers in an inspirational Sixth Form to develop the curriculum and schemes of work. You will analyse student data to identify underachievement and develop intervention strategies to ensure all students make outstanding progress.
